Empoli had a great confidence boost this weekend against Juventus in the Copa Italia, taking a 2-1 victory back to the retun leg. Now they must face their disastrous Serie A campaign with a extremely vital game against Cagliari. Both these teams have been sucking thus far in the season with identical records, but with Empoli's confidence boost midweek against Juventus, I think they are going to come on top in front of their fans. A win is extremely important for them here and what better time is it than right now, against a team that usually doesn't do well traveling the Stadio Carlo Castellani.

-Middlesbrough vs Arsenal-
Middlesbrough is in desperate need of a win here. They are facing a side that loves scoring goals on them, and even with Fabregas and Hleb missing, I think Arsenal will still find the back of the net here. With Middlesbrough in desperation mode, I'm pretty sure they will be able to find the back of the net as well. I'm sticking with the over in this one.

-Bolton vs Wigan-
Bolton and Wigan have both been doing bad this season in the EPL. Other than there win against Manchester United, Bolton hasn't done it for me in the Premiership. Wigan's away form hasn't been close to doing it for me either. With Wigan proving that they can hold their own at the Reebok Stadium over the past couple of years, I think this game is going to end in a draw for two teams that have been doing bad this season.

-Real Zaragoza vs Espanyol-
Real Zaragoza haven't been doing good this season, with their last win coming in October. With all the injuries they have I think they are going to find it hard to take a win against an in form Espanyol side. Espanyol goalkeeper has been massive for them this season, he put a great performance against Barcelona last week, and I think he is going to keep up the good work at Zaragoza and help Espanyol grab at least a point.

Villarreal need to start winning some games if they want to keep up their top 4 finish this season, and with Giuseppe Rossi coming back to boost the squad up, they should take all three points against an injured Real Betis. I'm sticking with Villarreal here to take the home win.

This is a must win game for Barcelona, but there has been a trend that I've been following for quite some time and thats taking La Coruna everytime they play away to Barca. Barca seem to never blow them out while La Coruna always sneak in a goal or 2 at the Camp Nou. I'm keeping this small, Barcelona need the win to keep their title hopes alive, I'm just hoping they only win by 1.
